The Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV)

The Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) is a specialist professional body representing, qualifying and briefing almost 3000 members practising in a diverse range of agricultural and rural work throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

CAAV members are agricultural and rural valuers who provide professional advice and valuation expertise on issues affecting the countryside. These can cover many topics, such as tenancy matters, sales and purchase of farms and land, taxation, compulsory purchase of land and property, auctioneering, conservation issues and farming business advice.

Country Land and Business Association (CLA)

The CLA is the only organisation solely dedicated to the protection of land and property rights and promoting the interests of the wider rural economy. Our members own and manage around half the rural land in England and Wales and more than 250 different types of businesses. We help our members make the most of their land, property and businesses which are valuable assets. Membership provides influence, exclusive knowledge and advice, and important connections and services. CLA is pleased to support “Grow your Future” as the profession of rural surveying is vital to our landowning members.

Livestock Auctioneers Association (LAA)

The Livestock Auctioneers' Association (LAA) is the national organisation representing auctioneering firms that occupy and run the livestock auction markets of England and Wales. Its members handle the vast majority of all auction sales of farm livestock and, in addition, most member firms conduct non livestock sales, such as agricultural, farm, contractor's plant and machinery, vehicles, horticultural goods, furniture and fine arts, land and property.

Scottish Agricultural Arbiters & Valuers Association (SAAVA)

The Association was founded in 1925 to serve the interests of Agricultural Arbiters, to provide them with advice and opportunity for discussion of practical and legal problems, and to promote uniformity of practice in arbitration procedure and associated valuation work. SAAVA are affiliated to the CAAV.

Tenant Farmers Association (TFA)

The Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) represents and advises members on all aspects of agricultural tenancy, land occupation and ancillary matters.  It also aims to improve the professional and technical knowledge of its members, to increase the flow of new tenancies and other valid farming opportunities onto the market and to help the farming industry best apply existing legislation impacting the occupation of non-owned farm land.

Northern Ireland Rural Valuer's Association (NIRVA)

Founded in 2012, NIRVA and its members advise farmers, landowners, lenders, charities, goverment and others on a wide range of issues including valuation, land occupation, diversification, renewable energy and dispute resolution. NIRVA are affiliated to the CAAV.
